The programs are intended for refrigeration and air conditioning: heat exchangers of different kind, reciprocating compressors, refrigeration cycles. The Refrigeration Software is a effective power tool for engineers, very useful for students and research workers. The computer programs are created at a high professional level. They are applicable for engineering, optimisation, fast composing of refrigerating systems, education and training. With their use it saves a time and energy, moreover it get quality solutions. Parts of calculations are based on IIR (International Institute of Refrigeration) and ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) publications, and the others are from much scientific and professional literature.

The programs no. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 14 and 16 are of use for thermodynamic, hydraulic (pressure drops) and dimensions computation of heat exchangers. The programs no. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 15 are of use for computation the work characteristics of refrigeration machine components. With their superimposing it can obtain the performances of the condensing units, also the balance point of the refrigeration machine as a whole.

The entering of the input data is quite simple and controlled, so it will carry out in the same programs. It is not necessary to input thermophysical properties of refrigerant, water, air and several secondary coolants, because they will be calculated in the same programs. Many equations are non-linear in implicit form. The programs use a particular method for solving these equations almost with ideal precision.

For each parameter of the input list there are symbol, dimension unit (in SI units) and textual description. The results are presented in a same way. There are schemes with design parameters. Detailed print out is optional.

The programs have many possibilities: they comprise heat exchangers (condensers and evaporators) with plain and finned tubes, different arrangement of tubes (in_line and in_stagger), many kind of refrigerants and secondary coolants. Ozone friendly refrigerants like R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A and Ammonia are included too. There are options at the condensers to consider the heat transfer with a superheated vapor, condensing and subcooling. In these cases, the program computes all different heat transfer coefficients. At the evaporators, beside the heat transfer with evaporation, there is an option with superheating in which all heat transfer coefficients are computed too.

The use of this software does not require any knowledge of computer programming, his handling is quite simple. It works in WINDOWS, it is not necessary any program support.
